Moderators of the Reddit subreddit deleted the discussion thread in question, stating that the site’s appearance could be explained by redirects. They also confirmed through their own testing that the website ExtraEmily visited (i.e. 67speed.com) had a pop-up that redirected to the viewbotting website.However, not everyone is convinced by this explanation, with some users refuting the moderator’s reasoning. A Reddit user named u/Lucky-Gecko added the following: “Mods keep deleting posts about this, claiming it’s a pop-up ad from the 67speed.com website. This is false. First, the viewbot website is an incognito window (grey/black top border). Someone also scolded the site’s creator, who denied there were any pop-up ads on the site at all, only benefits/cute ads embedded. “Fellow host Mizkiff also responded to the accusations during one of his own live streams. He expressed doubts about whether bot-watching was occurring. The streamer further added that based on the number of viewers ExtraEmily typically attracts, he sees no evidence of artificial inflation.
