Will Trump fire Pete Hegseth amid impeachment controversy? Here’s what we know so far

Pete Hegseth, Trump’s trusted defense secretary who oversees the Army’s Iran and the wider Middle East, will face impeachment. Axios first reported on Wednesday that U.S. House Democrats had initiated impeachment proceedings against Hegers.

Will Trump fire Pete Hegseth?

Donald Trump has yet to discuss firing Pete Hegseth. There are no reports from White House insiders that Trump is as happy with Hegseth as he was with Pam Bundy.

There has been speculation, however, that Trump may fire officials, as he has shown a penchant for firing officials when they face scrutiny, whether through House hearings or impeachment proceedings.
