Nestled in the serene landscapes of Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir, Village Bhatri is a small yet vibrant part of Panchayat Trown. Surrounded by natural beauty and enriched with cultural heritage, the village reflects the simplicity, strength, and unity of rural India.
Bhatri village is a part of Panchayat Trown ward no. 5 with a population of around 200 people including males females and childrens. The village is divided into four parts named Bhatri A, Bhatri B, bhaii Bhatri means upper Bhatri (In bhaderwahi) and Gwari wala.

Traditions and Rituals of Village Bhatri
People in the village are friendly in nature and have deep faith in God. There are a number of temples in the village dedicated to different different God’s and Goddesses. Every year Sheep’s and Goat’s are sacrificed in the temples to fulfill the holy rituals.
There is a temple in side the house of Girdhar Lal in the middle of the Bhatri A where Goddesses Mall Mata is Established (Stapit) where every third year a on tuesday of Meghar (Desi Month) Zagru is organized by the people of the village in order to seek blessings of the the Mall Mata also known as Kul-re-Devi.
In Zagru people throughout the village gather with holy prayers and chants. Famous Bols (Local devotional prayers) are sungged by the famous and old males and females of the village.
