“I’ll tell you my personal opinion and experience with her. What shocks me about Erica is not the fact that she lied, which we will prove to you over and over again, but more importantly I don’t know if she realizes she’s lying,” Owens said in a Feb. 25 post titled “a wrinkle in time‘.
Owens accused Erica of misrepresenting her identity to the public by lying about being raised by a single mother.
Owens claimed that while Erica was proud of being raised by a “strong, independent, entrepreneurial single mother,” [Lori Frantzve] Her father, Kent Frantzve, is actually in the picture and was even a stay-at-home dad at one point.
Owens went on to mention Erica’s September 2025 New York Times profile, in which she said that for her and Charlie’s two children, becoming a single mother was actually the “least traumatic” aspect of her new life, since she herself was raised by a singer mother after her parents divorced. She describes her mother as her “blueprint.”
Owens later said Erica’s image was created by “feeding the public the idea that you can raise kids, you can be a single mom, you can be a CEO and a boss, baby.”
“The only problem is that’s not true. Erica was not raised by a single mother at all,” Owens claimed, adding that Kent has been in Erica’s life “forever.”
“To the point where she was actually a stay-at-home dad throughout Kent’s entire childhood. So, at one point, it was almost the exact opposite,” Owens added.
While talking to Charlie on an episode of The Charlie Kirk Show podcast, Owens played a video of Erica defending stay-at-home dads, noting that her dad had been a stay-at-home dad for several years.
“I have to say it was really sweet. And really special. I was four years old,” Erica said in the video.
Owens noted that Erica was only 10 years old when her parents divorced in 1998, “so her father was a big part of her early childhood and he didn’t stop being involved in her teenage years.” Owens cited conversations she had with Erica’s classmates and ex-boyfriends.
Owens went on to mention that Erica has a stepfather, Larry Quinta, who has been a “fixed member” of her life “since before her parents’ divorce was finalized.”

Erica was born in Ohio and insists she was raised by her single mother, Lori Frantzoff, in Arizona. After welcoming Erica in November 1988, Lori divorced Erica’s father, Kent, and raised her as a single mother in Scottsdale, People reported.
Erika praised Lori in her April 2022 post celebrate on her mother’s birthday, thanking her for “setting the example” for her.

“One of the greatest gifts of my life is to be your daughter, through every high and low, now and forever,” she added. “No matter where life takes us. As long as I live, I will be your child.”
After Erica was crowned Miss Arizona USA in 2012, she told Arizona Foothills that she was drawn to pageants as a way to serve others, a value her mother instilled in her.
“My mom used to take us to soup kitchens and kept saying we needed to share our blessings with others,” she told the publication. “When I learned that by competing I could reach more people and further my career, I knew this was an opportunity to make an even greater impact.”
AZCentral.com reports that Erika is Catholic and graduated from a private Catholic high school in 2007. Erika posted a Instagram Photo of her worshiping with her mother in August 2021, thanking her for teaching her the importance of faith.
“From day one, you taught me the importance of worship and living a life sold for Christ—shown in the way you live your life with a servant’s heart,” Erica wrote on the image. “Precious moments like this, which I experience but almost never capture, are ones I cherish forever. I love you Mommy Lo.”
