mysterious disappearance Nancy GuthrieThe mother of 84-year-old journalist Savannah Guthrie is drawing comparisons to the notorious Idaho murders as investigators continue to search for her more than a month after her alleged abduction.

Law enforcement officials believe Nancy Guthrie was kidnapped from her home in Tucson, Arizona, in the early morning hours of February 1, but authorities have not yet named a suspect or person of interest in the case.

What’s the connection between Nancy Guthrie and the Idaho murders?
exist idaho murder case In this case, the authorities initially had limited evidence, but the identity of the suspect, Bryan Kohberger, was finally confirmed through trace amounts of DNA on the scabbard. Experts now say similar forensic methods could be crucial in Guthrie’s investigation, CBS News reports.
On March 7, NewsNation reporter Brian Entin revealed this connection in the latest episode of his YouTube series, The Brian Entin Investigations. Brian examines important similarities between Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance and the Idaho murders on Saturday’s show.
He explained that in both cases, TikTok detectives took to social media to blame the murders on innocent people. The latest victim of the campaign is Nancy’s family acquaintance Dominic Evans, a long-time friend and former bandmate of Nancy’s son-in-law, Tommaso Scioni.
In an Idaho case, TikTok detectives accuse innocent people of being involved in a situation eerily similar to the Nancy Guthrie case. Entin detailed that a professor at the University of Idaho was accused of murder early on by a TikTok channeler who kept posting without providing any evidence.
Likewise, commenters on social media said Dominic has an “athletic figure,” facial hair (goatee and mustache) and even a wrist tattoo that can be seen in the video of the masked man ringing the doorbell outside Nancy’s home.
However, Bryan clarified that law enforcement does not have any evidence or confirmation that Dominic is being considered.

The investigation continues and there are no reliable leads
The search for Nancy Guthrie has entered its 34th day, with no arrests yet and no update on Nancy’s whereabouts.
Federal officials have returned to locations around Nancy’s home as the investigation takes new turns. On March 5, authorities went door-to-door asking locals if they had seen anything unusual when she disappeared.
Investigators asked about possible internet outages in the area that night, according to several homeowners who spoke to NBC News.
Officials are also requesting access to any video footage that may have been captured during that period, residents said. According to Entin, when neighbors looked at the Ring Camera history from the night Nancy disappeared, they saw an “unavailable” display.
