Cajun Combined Navy Claims Pima County Sheriff The group has been blocking it for nearly a week after offering dozens of search and rescue dogs and drones to help find missing people. Nancy Guthrie. The group said it dispatched Pima County Sheriff’s Chris Nanos According to the US “Daily Express” report, a 41-page plan provides assistance in the search.

Sgt. Aaron Cross, president of the Pima County Representatives Organization, said he hopes Nanos accepts help. “More body is always better than less,” Cross said.

In the search for Nancy, four detectives and one sergeant from the Pima County Sheriff’s Office have been assigned to a joint task force with the FBI operating out of the department’s Tucson field office.

“Everyone is hoping we have some hot leads and the entire department is working hard to try to get this resolved as quickly as possible. So, I mean, we’re reducing manpower and it’s hard to say what kind of signal that sends,” Cross said.

Cross previously acknowledged that there was some friction between local police and the FBI.

“I know there were issues between the sheriff and the FBI early on, but now that they’re putting together a task force, is that positive? I hope so. I hope it’s a more collaborative effort with federal agencies,” he said.

New updates for DNA

Authorities revealed that DNA on a glove found near Nancy’s home matched that of an employee who worked at a restaurant across the street. Nanos told KVOA in an interview that officials had long suspected this might be the case and dozens of gloves were found randomly near Nancy’s Tucson home.

“There was some talk and discussion that the police on the scene simply discarded [the gloves]which couldn’t be further from the truth,” Nanos said.

“We knew then and we believed wholeheartedly that these gloves belonged to a restaurant, and guess what? We found out that the owner of the gloves worked at a restaurant across the street. It had nothing to do with the case,” he added.

However, Nanos also explained that other gloves found near the home may have had different DNA matches.

“It’s a challenge because we know we have DNA, but now we have to deal with this mixture and how to separate it,” Nanos said.

The sheriff recently said authorities are “definitely closer” to tracking down a suspect in the case.

“I think investigators are definitely closer,” Nanos said in an interview with NBC. “We’ve got a lot of intelligence, a lot of leads, but now it’s time to get to work.”

US-Israel war with Iran: Why Gulf states are furious with UK and Keir Starmer

Britain has faced harsh criticism from its Gulf partners after an Iranian missile attack escalated tensions in the Middle East. Regional allies say the British government has been too slow to respond to threats and has delayed key military decisions at critical moments.Britain’s allies in the Gulf and Cyprus have expressed concern that Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer did not act quickly to protect the region and British nationals amid recent Iranian missile attacks. Bahraini and Emirati officials have privately questioned Britain’s response and its defense posture around Cyprus, where Britain has two military bases, The Times reported. The UK has a naval support facility in Bahrain with approximately 300 service personnel. The base is close to the headquarters of the U.S. Fifth Fleet, which was attacked by Iranian missiles. British Defense Secretary John Healy said the missile landed less than 200 meters from British troops.Frustration among Gulf partners also stems from the United States’ delay in allowing the use of joint military bases, including the Indian Ocean island of Diego Garcia, to conduct defensive air strikes against Iranian missile sites. Starmer eventually granted the request on Sunday night, but allies believed the delay was the result of a slow response during the escalating conflict. The military deployment has also drawn criticism. British F-35 and Typhoon aircraft based in Cyprus have been conducting defensive missions to intercept Iranian missiles and drones. However, the Royal Navy destroyer HMS Dragon will not set sail for Cyprus until next week as the ship is taken out of service for maintenance and the installation of required weapons.A Western official told The Times (UK) that Britain’s chief of defense staff received a proposal to deploy the destroyer HMS Dragon at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, four days after the conflict began and nearly two days after a drone attack on the Royal Air Force Base in Akrotiri, Cyprus. The proposal was then passed on to ministers and quickly approved.Further reinforcements are planned. Royal Navy Wildcat helicopters equipped with Martlet missiles designed to deal with aerial threats are expected to arrive in Cyprus within days.Cypriot officials welcomed the support but said aid was coming slowly. Cypriot High Commissioner to the UK Kyriakos Kouros said the deployment of HMS Dragon was “welcome” but noted that it would take more than a week for the ship to reach the area. He compared Britain’s timetable with that of other allies.“The French are coming,” Couros said. “We at least expect the British to show up as well because, as I said, we are not just defending the Cypriots on the island.”Tensions were further heightened after reports that Starmer was delaying approval of US use of British bases due to opposition within the cabinet. This hesitation has reportedly angered Gulf governments, particularly the United Arab Emirates, where most of the 300,000 Britons living in the region live.A source familiar with the UAE’s concerns told The Times (UK) there was a feeling the prime minister had to be forced to approve, adding that the incident reflected badly in the eyes of the GCC.Cabinet ministers including Ed Miliband, Rachel Reeves and Shabana Mahmoud raised objections to allowing the United States to launch attacks on Iran from British bases at a National Security Council meeting on Friday, The Spectator reported. The decision was approved on Sunday after allies in the region were already under attack. In the House of Commons, Starmer defended his previous hesitation, saying there was initially no legal basis or clear plan of action. A Downing Street spokesman said the government would not comment on discussions at the National Security Council and insisted the final decision had the support of Cabinet. The government said it had beefed up military defenses in the area. A spokesman said Typhoon fighter jets and F-35 fighter jets flying from Cyprus and Qatar had been conducting defensive flights and intercepting Iranian drones.Officials added that Britain has deployed more radar systems, air defense assets and F-35 jets to Cyprus since January, and Typhoon aircraft to Qatar. Current reinforcements include Wildcat helicopters equipped with Martlet missiles and the destroyer Dragon planned to deploy to the Eastern Mediterranean. The British government also confirmed that the prime minister had authorized the United States to use British bases for defense missions against Iran’s missile capabilities, adding that the UK remained prepared to protect its troops and regional allies.

Joseph Kony is alive: Find out how Uganda's most notorious war criminal was on the run with his soldiers for decades

For decades, the name Joseph Kony has been synonymous with one of Africa’s most horrific insurgencies. The Ugandan warlord has been accused of some of the worst atrocities against unarmed civilians and has been on the run for decades, evading capture by various armies trying to capture him. Despite this, Joseph Kony remains at large. His ability to infiltrate some of the most unregulated corners of Central Africa has intrigued observers and baffled international authorities. The rebel group he founded, the Lord’s Resistance Army, is now a shadow of its former self. Yet the fact that Kony and his small band of loyal followers are still alive today raises many questions about the impact of global justice and regional security cooperation. Based on intelligence sources and reports from former rebels, Kony is believed to be alive and operating outside the borders of Sudan and the Central African Republic. In 2024, the Russian-affiliated Wagner Group reportedly tried but failed to seize one of his trading camps in eastern Central African Republic, The Independent reported.

how Joseph Kony’s rebel group Devastated communities in northern Uganda

According to DNI.gov, the story of the Lord’s Resistance Army began in northern Uganda in the late 1980s. At that time, they intended to fight against the government of President Museveni and protect the interests of the Acholi people, the main ethnic group in Uganda. The Lord’s Resistance Army initially had political significance but later became known for its brutality against civilians.Attacks on villages resulted in their destruction. Thousands of children were abducted and forced to work as soldiers, porters, and even maids. The girl was forced to have sex with the Lord’s Resistance Army commander. People suffered greatly and had to endure brutality at the hands of the Lord’s Resistance Army and the Ugandan army.By the early 2000s, nearly 2 million people had been forced from their homes in northern Uganda. For people in northern Uganda, internally displaced persons camps have become a reality. Some researchers later described conditions in these camps as one of social misery.

When the world suddenly pays attention

The war has long been largely unknown outside Africa. However, this changed dramatically in 2012 with the release of a viral video called “Kony 2012.”The movement spread quickly on social media sites and received huge attention around the world. Many people, including celebrities and politicians, weighed in on the topic, and the video was viewed by millions shortly after it was posted. The U.S. government even announced a $5 million reward for information leading to Kony’s arrest. However, the movement eventually died down. That’s because, by then, the venue of the war had moved and Kony himself remained elusive.

How remote Borderlands helped Joseph Kony avoid arrest for years

The most important reason for Kony’s survival is geography. His remaining fighters are based in remote border areas stretching from Central African Republic, Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo.Border regions are vast, sparsely populated and often unsupervised. Dense forests and rugged terrain make movement extremely difficult for armed groups. These groups can move freely from one country to another, taking advantage of poor coordination between countries. For insurgent groups, border areas provide opportunities for armed groups to hide, replenish supplies, and gather information through local connections. Analysts believe this location allows Kony and his followers to fit into the larger cross-border trade pattern.

How Joseph Kony and his handful of fighters hid in remote forests

The Lord’s Resistance Army once had thousands of armed personnel and carried out large-scale attacks in multiple countries. Today, the group is much smaller. Some intelligence estimates suggest that Kony may now command only a handful of loyal followers, perhaps a dozen to twenty fighters. While the group’s military capabilities have plummeted, its smaller size may actually make it more difficult to target. Large-scale insurgent movements require supply chains, camps and organized logistics. A small group moves silently through the remote forest, leaving far fewer traces.Over the years, Kony appears to have adjusted his strategy. Instead of launching frequent attacks, the group has reportedly reduced its violence and focused on avoiding detection. This shift has helped them survive amid increased international military pressure.

How rebels learned to survive quietly

As large-scale attacks decline, the Lord’s Resistance Army must find other ways to sustain itself. Researchers studying the area have shown that the organization was involved in local economic networks. Small-scale farming, honey production and cross-border trade are reportedly part of their survival strategies.Legal and illegal trade routes already exist in the border areas where the group operates. Goods such as bamboo, agricultural products, and livestock pass through these areas. At the same time, trade in precious resources such as gold, ivory or diamonds has historically followed similar routes. In some cases, the LRA reportedly imposed taxes on traders passing through certain areas or exchanged goods with other armed groups and nomads. These arrangements allow the organization to keep a low profile while still creating resources for survival.

Why the hunt for Kony lost momentum

Another reason for Kony’s continued freedom may be that the political priority of capturing Kony and his Lord’s Resistance Army has waned. These countries still have many security issues to resolve, and the threat posed by the remnants of the Lord’s Resistance Army is no longer as great as it once was.For countries such as Uganda, the Central African Republic and the Democratic Republic of Congo, hunting down a group of militants in remote jungles is costly and complicated. The issue also no longer receives international attention. The International Criminal Court still has an arrest warrant out for Kony, accusing him of war crimes and crimes against humanity during the rebellion.

Former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif has made a bold prediction ahead of the high-stakes semi-final between the Indian national cricket team and England cricket team at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.Latif spoke on Pakistani television and backed England to beat India and advance to the final. The winner of Thursday’s match will face the New Zealand national cricket team, who booked their place in the title match after beating South Africa in the other semi-final.

Relive T20 WC Victory 2024 with Vimal Kumar: How Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli made history

Historically, India has had a slight edge over England in T20 World Cup matches, with a head-to-head record of 3-2. Their first encounter took place in the inaugural edition in 2007, when India won by 18 runs in a memorable match. The most memorable thing about that match was the six sixes Yuvraj Singh hit in one over.England responded two years later in the 2009 tournament, beating India by a narrow margin after they fell three runs behind while chasing 154 runs. India regained the upper hand in the 2012 edition with a crushing 90-run victory. Ten years later, England defeated India in the 2022 World Cup with an outstanding performance and advanced to the final. However, India came back to win again in the 2024 T20 World Cup. Rohit Sharma.Despite India’s good record, Latif believes England have the advantage this time around.“England will win the semi-final,” Latif said.“They came from a difficult situation and were successful with 2-3 batsmen. That’s what they needed, their middle order was strong,” he said.“England understands these conditions very well. Even if just one England player performs well, it can be enough for India to lose,” he further added.England’s journey to the semi-finals has been one of resilience. They have had to bounce back from challenging situations in several games, including tight matches against Nepal and Pakistan, and they have shown composure under pressure. The team also defeated New Zealand in the Super 8 stage and remained unbeaten.England captain looks ahead to semi-finals Harry Brooke Emphasizing the value of winning close games in global championships.Brooke said: “We won tight games, which proved to be very important at the World Cup, and we are confident going into the deeper stages of the competition.”“We’ve won games we probably shouldn’t have, and it feels like we’ve never really been out of any games so far, which puts you in a good position going into these world games.”

TVs are easier to use than ever these days, and in fact I’ve been looking for a good 55-inch TV to replace my aging Samsung TV for the past decade. Luckily, you don’t need to spend a lot of money to get a good 55-inch smart TV. You can definitely find good models below $40,000 or even less $35,000.

There are also multiple super value 55" TV priced under Rs 35,000.
There are a variety of value-for-money 55-inch TVs under Rs 35,000.

I’m personally looking for a TV with Google TV or Fire TV built-in to sort the navigation within the experience. I want the TV to work with my PlayStation 5 as well, so I’m looking for features like automatic low-latency mode and MEMC. If there’s a 120Hz refresh rate, that’s just an added bonus. I’m also looking for good image quality, hopefully a QLED as I like deep blacks.

While these options do highlight these features, some of the cheaper models I recommend here may miss out on the above features but still make sense for you based on the lower price. Taking all this into consideration, here are the best TV options that I have found on Flipkart and would buy.

This TV is a 2025 TV, but that doesn’t matter because you’re getting top-notch quality for your money. This TV retails for approx. $30,000, you get a lot for the price. You get a 55-inch 4K QLED TV that supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, as well as Google TV 5.0.

Another nice thing I noticed about this TV is that it supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which comes in handy when I have a PlayStation 5 system connected. So if you are planning to connect a gaming console to this as well, maybe an Xbox Series X, Series S or PlayStation 5, then this will be very useful as you will be able to enjoy smooth visuals.

In addition to this, it also has ALLM, which is automatic low latency mode, and has MEMC. The overall sound configuration is also quite powerful, 50W. Plus, Motorola is a trustworthy brand and I think this will be a good choice for a lot of people, especially at just under $30,000.

Based on our current research, we’ve found that this TV is also rated very well, with a 4.3-star rating after around 16,000 reviews from verified buyers. Buyers appreciate the TV’s picture quality, sound, connectivity and value for money. Buyers said the installation could have been better.

Another bonus is that this TV is also available in smaller and larger sizes at a very reasonable price. For example, the 65-inch model costs approximately $40,000 and a huge 75 inch TV will cost you approx. $62,000, which is cheap compared to a few years ago.

This TV also uses a QLED panel, measures 55 inches, and you can choose between Google TV and Fire TV operating systems. But here I would recommend the Fire TV OS option which costs approx. $33,000. Yes, it’s not a Google TV experience, but I think Fire TV itself offers a great user experience, so you can definitely go with it considering the cheaper price tag.

This TV is also a QLED model, so the black levels will be better compared to traditional IPS LCD panels. Having said that, you get support for Dolby DTS-X and Dolby DTS Virtual X. The TV comes with 34W sound setup. It also supports HDR10+, covering 94% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

The TV supports HDMI ARC connectivity, has an optical input, network port, 3.5mm jack, and has a 60Hz refresh rate. It also supports features like AirPlay 2 and Miracast, so you can cast from Apple devices as well. So if you’re in the Apple ecosystem, this might be great. The bezel size is also quite thin, so if you’re looking for a good-looking TV, this will suit it well.

This TV has a consistent four-star rating after more than 15,000 verified buyer reviews. People said that the image quality with deep blacks worked really well for them, and they also appreciated the build quality of the product. However, sometimes users say that the installation could have been better because the service installation partner was not the best.

This TV is available at approx. $26,000 which means you will save approx. $7,000–8,000 cheaper (based on current discounts) compared to TVs with QLED technology. But depending on how you make your purchasing decision, it might make more sense.

If you’re buying a TV for an area where picture quality isn’t the highest priority, because it’s a traditional LED TV and not a QLED TV, the black levels won’t be that good. However, if you want a big TV with the Google TV experience for daily use (perhaps for the office), the Realme TechLife 55-inch TV could be a good choice.

It offers a 60Hz refresh rate on a 55-inch panel and also supports Dolby Audio, as well as other features such as MEMC, making it perfect for watching sports events and more. Buyers have given positive reviews to the product on Flipkart, with over 4,000 reviews giving it 4.5 stars. People say this is a good value TV with good picture quality and good viewing angles. Meanwhile, some negative news mentions glitches.

Haier is definitely a trustworthy brand in home appliances and TVs. If you factor in the bank discount, this particular model can be a deal, bringing the total price down to less than $35,000 after applying for card benefits and UPI discount. But even in its $Priced at $38,990, it’s certainly worth the money, offering Google TV, 4K UHD resolution, HDR10 support, MEMC, 20-watt speaker output, and more.

This isn’t the best for gaming, as the refresh rate is limited to 60Hz. But if you’re looking for a good brand experience and overall high-quality image output, this might be worth the investment. Buyers on Flipkart have given it a rating of 4.4 stars out of over 225 verified buyer ratings, with many praising the picture quality. Jack Dorsey’s Block Techie who survived mass layoffs offered 75% pay rise, but she quits

0

An employee of Jack Dorsey’s Block claims she resigned from the company immediately after it laid off 40% of its staff. Despite being offered a retention package that included a 75% raise and a one-time bonus, the technician chose to leave the next day. In a detailed post, she explained that she couldn’t justify profiting from the loss of most of her team members’ livelihoods.

“My employer, Block, laid off 40% of its employees last Thursday (February 26). I was not affected…but I was affected. I decided to resign immediately and left the company the next day, February 27. I figured a company that could steal half of its employees with Thanos without me needing two weeks’ notice would be just another IC that could easily fall into the 40%.” technical staff wrote on LinkedIn.

Also read: A man who was interviewing new candidates for Block received a redundancy email from Jack Dorsey: ‘I’m the sole breadwinner in my family’

In the post, she shared that it was her personal story and experience working in the tech industry. She claimed that some of Bullock’s choices were “seriously problematic” and that the whole situation made her angry. She continued, “I bet a lot of people who were fired or still work at Block are angry too. Anger is a feeling of perceived injustice and is a valid response to these events.”

Over the course of 10 agonizing minutes, the employee watched nearly 70% of her immediate and sister teams disappear. The cleanup left her and a new employee, three days old, to clean up the mess, leaving her with “huge fear” and a strong sense of survivor’s guilt.

Lots of reserved packages:

Bullock offered those who survived the mass layoffs significant raises, according to the techie. “I’m not sure what other people’s retention packages looked like, but I personally got about a 75% raise (90% if you include the one-time bonus!). So basically, I saw my company dump half of my coworkers and double my salary.”

The woman went on to say that hiking was not a “privilege.” Instead, she called it “shameful and dehumanizing.”

“I would rather see my peers keep their jobs than profit from their trauma. I have tremendous financial privilege because I am a securely employed, healthy person with no dependents, but many of my peers have families to take care of, medical bills to pay, or visa issues that put them at risk of deportation.”

“I demand dismissal”

She went on to say she wanted to be included in the layoffs, but was told “no.”

“Because really, when you see your entire team — the people you’ve worked so hard to build a positive relationship with over the past year and a half — disappear, why should you choose to leave with dignity?”

Techie questions the reasons behind mass layoffs:

In a note to employees, Jack Dorsey said the company took the big step because of structural shifts driven by artificial intelligence. However, technicians question this reasoning.

“So why is this happening? Bullock claims it’s because AI has made companies so efficient. Last year, AI Shoved down everyone’s throat. It’s all about artificial intelligence. We are told to use artificial intelligence as much as possible. Being forced to use tools that accelerate the disappearance of the jobs on which our livelihoods depend is nothing short of dystopian. Personally, I see very limited productivity gains from AI, and nothing meaningful enough to justify throwing away half the company’s employees and their institutional knowledge and expertise (bus factor, anyone?). “

‘Employees have no choice’

The woman continued, “So 40% of employees have no choice but to take a severance package and leave. The remaining 60% are paid well to stay and clean up the mess our ‘leaders’ have made so that we can continue to contribute to a future where AI puts us all out of work.”

She added: “No thanks, I’m out!”

Last month, Jack Dorsey announced that his technology company Block would cut “nearly half” of its workforce, laying off 4,000 people.

Dorsey insisted that the company remains strong and financially stable, and attributed the aggressive layoffs to a strategic shift toward creating, using and relying on “smart tools.”

0

New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday soft-launched four digital tools and unveiled the mascots of Census 2027, ‘Pragati’ (female) and ‘Vikas’ (male). These mascots symbolize the equal participation of men and women in India’s journey to become a developed nation by 2047.The new digital platform, developed by the Center for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), is designed to support the enumeration process of the world’s largest census exercise. The 2027 Census is scheduled to begin on April 1, 2026, and will be conducted in two phases. The first phase, a home listing and housing census, will take place from April to September 2026, followed by the census phase in February 2027.The national headcount will be conducted entirely digitally for the first time. Before enumerators begin going door-to-door, citizens can also conduct a self-census online in 16 languages. At the heart of the event will be the Census Management and Monitoring System (CMMS), a dedicated digital portal designed to coordinate one of the largest administrative operations in the world. The system will mark a major shift from traditional paper-based enumerations. Instead of clipboards and paper forms, field staff will use handheld devices, geotagged mapping tools and a centralized web-based monitoring platform.More than 3.2 million enumerators, supervisors and other field officers across the country will participate in the exercise. They will use handheld devices to collect detailed demographic, social and economic data from hundreds of millions of households. The collected data will be transmitted and processed through the CMMS platform, allowing it to be aggregated, verified and monitored in near real-time, significantly reducing the time required for compilation and error correction. The 2027 Census will be the 16th national census since independence and the first to be conducted fully digitally, with a self-enumeration option for citizens. The decennial census was originally scheduled for 2021 but was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.According to the Registrar General of India (RGI), in the first phase of the exercise, citizens will be asked 33 questions focusing on house listings and housing details.

MacBook Neo and iPhone 17e first impressions: a cheap and cheerful return

0

From time to time, Apple ditches plain silver and gray tones, leveraging color and lower price points to appeal to a broader, mostly younger audience. Sometimes it’s successful. Sometimes…not so much.

Apple's new
Apple’s new “Citrus” MacBook Neo (right) is reminiscent of some of the company’s other cheap and cheerful devices, including the iPod Shuffle and iPhone 5c.

new MacBook Neo and iPhone 17e This is Apple’s latest strategy aimed at budget-conscious customers. Do the $599 price tag and candy-colored hues make up for the low-cost hardware?

Here are my first impressions after spending half a day with the new device, as well as my thoughts on Apple’s past and its current strategy.

Budget is back: MacBook Neo and iPhone 17e

Apple showed off its latest devices at an industrial warehouse in New York on Wednesday. The bright “Citrus” hue of the MacBook Neo immediately stands out against the brick wall. it is not Quite a boy—more akin to Yellow Chartreuse liqueur.

The keyboard keys and feet are coated to match the bright aluminum casing for a fun tactile feel. But what really matters is how well this laptop can run apps, since it’s powered by the chip last seen in the iPhone 16 Pro.

I have over 25 browser tabs open. The Neo seems to handle these issues very well. I saw a demo of clothing design in an app called Pixelmator Pro, as well as a real-time 3D game from Apple Arcade, which also worked well. However, I need more time to test the Neo and see how much it can withstand real life.

One surprise: the trackpad. Apple engineers cut costs by using mechanical clicks instead of the virtual “Force Touch” clicks found on pricier MacBooks. Unlike old trackpads, though, you can click anywhere. It’s not bad, but I’m wondering if it’s another part that might be broken.

Another thing that might get damaged? USB-C port, when my kids trip over the cable. The more premium MacBooks come with the MagSafe quick-release power cord that many parents appreciate.

As for the iPhone 17e, there wasn’t much new to comment on when I played with it today. this is a bump last year’s model Featuring a faster chip and few new hardware additions, but still the same single 48-megapixel camera.

A stronger display is great, but I don’t want to drop the phone on the floor to check its durability. It has a magnetic ring on the back, which Apple also calls MagSafe. I tested it with my favorite accessory, the Moft wallet tripodthe effect is very good. An animation on the screen confirms that it’s securely connected.

A cheap and enjoyable challenge

Playing with this new series reminded me of Apple’s most colorful designs from the past, and their track record of mixing.

My first laptop was around 2000 iBook G3. At $1,599, it’s not cheap, but it’s the most bizarre piece of tech I’ve ever owned. The iBook has a translucent plastic casing (a classic early design) with an “orange” tint. I use the built-in handle to carry it around like a handbag.

There is one Great scenes from “Legally Blonde” Elle Woods (played by Reese Witherspoon) uses her clam-shaped orange iBook amid a sea of dark rectangular laptops.

The desktop iMac G3 also comes in similar flavors, including blueberry, grape, and lime. 2004, iPod mini The pink, blue and green aluminum casing is eye-catching.

Then there’s the iPod Shuffle. It’s about the size of a Ghirardelli chocolate square and comes in a rainbow of options. This is a clip-on MP3 player without a screen, only suitable for $49. Wearable iPod becomes icon for some Generation Z still.

There were some less memorable devices that also got a taste of the rainbow. Do you remember the iPhone 5c? It doesn’t matter if you don’t. At the time, Apple CEO Tim Cook said consumers were turning to the iPhone 5S because it had a new fingerprint sensor.

When engineers leave out too much to save money, bright colors don’t always make up for it. The shortcomings of these “affordable” products may prompt other consumers to purchase more premium models. (Hey, the current top-of-the-line iPhone is “Cosmic Orange.”)

But I suspect the MacBook Neo and iPhone 17e will find some audience among budget hunters.

Last year’s iPhone 16e was a success in the U.S., accounting for Accounts for 11% of U.S. iPhone sales Its launch quarter share was more than double that of its predecessor, the iPhone SE, according to Consumer Intelligence Research Partners.

people feel the pressure price increase. By trading “pro” features for brilliant colors and a lower entry point, Apple could gain market share Fight against competitors who are forced to raise prices.

It’s not just the atmosphere that’s cheap and cheerful – it may prove to be a well-thought-out strategy.
