The Boston Fire Department said in the latest news, fire The event began at a residential building at 263 Princeton Street in East Boston around 6 p.m. Sunday. The fire then spread to two other buildings.

In a later update, Boston FD confirmed that a total of six homes had been “torn down” following the “violent fire.” Three are on Princeton Street and three are on Saratoga Street. The department shared photos of the charred house.
