He said that even though things went against the Indian team at times, they still performed well throughout the tournament.“We always hear people saying that the umpires favored India or that they prepared the pitch in favor of spin, but you have to admit that in this match, the pitch was very balanced. At times, the conditions were not even favorable for India but they still managed to deliver a dominant performance,” Imad told a Pakistan TV show.Wasim added that other teams should not question India’s success but should acknowledge how well they performed. He said their continued results show how strong they currently are in international cricket.“So, we should not always find fault or claim that India is looking for a way out. As a cricketing nation, we have to praise their performance and accept the fact that in cricket, they are stronger than us (Pakistan) and many other teams,” he added.India’s victory also created history as they became the first men’s team to defend their T20 World Cup title. The team led by Suryakumar Yadav also became the first host nation to win the tournament and the first team to lift the trophy three times.
