I also want to be a finisher like him, I want to finish the game.”(Translation: “I have always looked up to MS Dhoni sir as I was a wicketkeeper too. I loved his helicopter shots, especially those in the 2011 World Cup. Those moments have always stayed with me. He has always been a role model for me. I want to be a finisher like him and get close to the game.”)Looking back on his journey since being named Man of the Match, Chowdhury spoke of the difficulties he overcame to reach this stage.“My journey actually started before I was born. My father had a dream that one day his son would be able to play cricket. But our financial situation was not good at that time, so I could not start early.”He added, “I started playing when I was around 12-13 years old. There were not many schools back then. The SBC Cricket Academy had just started and I trained there for about 5-6 years.”Summing up his fearless style, he said: “I’ve always played attacking cricket since I was little. I’ve always been the one to bat.”
