Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched a new initiative to offer offers and discounts to Hajj and Umrah pilgrims through Nusuqa, aiming to improve their overall experience during the Hajj.The Nusuqa is the official identification card for pilgrims and those working within the Hajj system. It must be carried at all times from arrival in the Kingdom to departure from the Kingdom, including during movement between Holy Lands.Under the new initiative, cardholders will be able to access special offers and services from a range of national businesses. These benefits cover a variety of industries, including retail, transportation, restaurants, hospitality, healthcare and entertainment. Details of participating entities are available through the Nusuk platform.The ministry said the initiative aims to make services more accessible and improve pilgrims’ comfort while improving the overall standard of services provided during Hajj and Umrah.Officials also highlighted the chamber’s role in supporting the program, describing it as a link between the ministry and the private sector to help more businesses participate in the program.In addition to offering discounts, the Nusukka remains an important document for pilgrims, allowing them access to the Holy Land and ensuring a smoother process throughout the pilgrimage. The ministry stressed that the card must be carried at all times during the Hajj.The initiative reflects ongoing efforts to improve facilities and services for pilgrims, integrating identification, access and fringe benefits into one system.
