Shortly after the United States and Iran agreed on a fragile two-week ceasefire, Donald Trump struck a tough tone, claiming Tehran would achieve “productive regime change” while outlining closely coordinated U.S.-Iranian plans to dismantle nuclear capabilities and the prospect of sanctions and tariff relief. The United States will work closely with Iran, which we are certain has experienced a very productive regime change! There will be no enrichment of uranium, and the United States will work with Iran to dig up and remove all deeply buried (B-2 bomber) nuclear “fallout.” It is and has been under very strict satellite surveillance (Space Force!). Nothing has been touched since the date of the attack. We are and will be discussing tariff and sanctions relief with Iran. Many of the 15 points were agreed upon. “The President of the United States said on the Truth Social program. He further threatened to impose tariffs on countries that aid Iran through arms supplies, adding, “Countries that provide military weapons to Iran will immediately impose a 50% tariff on all goods sold to the United States, effective immediately. There will be no exceptions or exemptions!”

The two-week ceasefire announced by Trump is a temporary and conditional suspension of hostilities between the United States and Iran, not a comprehensive peace deal. Both sides agreed to halt military operations; including air strikes, missile launches and drone attacks for two weeks. The suspension is also intended to create diplomatic space for further negotiations. During this period, the two sides are expected to discuss broader issues such as sanctions relief, nuclear restrictions and regional security, making the ceasefire a testing ground for more durable solutions.
