Posts on X claimed that Biden may have been hospitalized at Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda or was facing serious health issues. These claims were largely spread by MAGA influencers, possibly in response to rumors about Trump.

Viral video of Joe Biden ‘being taken to Walter Reed’

Rumors about President Donald Trump’s health began to circulate after the White House announced a media “blackout” at 11:08 a.m. Saturday.

Furthering speculation, an online video purportedly showing Trump being taken to a hospital went viral. However, the video was taken in 2024, when he was shot and released from a hospital in Butler, Pennsylvania.

In a similar video circulating online, a group of vehicles equipped with sirens is said to be traveling with Joe Biden to Walter Reed. However, Gronk claimed the video was a superimposition of Highways England ambulance footage.

Currently, there are no reliable reports from reputable news outlets confirming Biden’s recent hospitalization. Additionally, neither his family nor a spokesperson have commented on this claim, which appears to be false.

Biden’s health history

Biden’s health has been a subject of public concern for years, particularly because of his advanced age and previous public cancer diagnoses.

His office revealed in May 2025 that he had been diagnosed with severe prostate cancer Although the disease is said to be curable and hormone-sensitive, the disease has spread to his bones.

He subsequently underwent radiation and hormone therapy as part of his treatment plan, according to his spokesman.
