The roster for the 2026 FIFA World Cup is now complete, with all 48 teams confirmed after the final round of continental qualifying and playoffs.The final six spots were sealed in March, with Sweden, Türkiye, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Czech Republic advancing to the UEFA play-offs. Iraq and the Democratic Republic of Congo grabbed the last two spots through the intercontinental play-offs. Iraq defeated Bolivia 2-1 to lock the last spot.Co-hosts the United States, Mexico and Canada will host the expansion tournament from June 11 to July 19, which will be the first time that 48 teams and 12 groups will participate.
