New Delhi: The government has ordered a reshuffle of senior officials and made several key appointments in various departments. Bihar cadre IAS officer Chanchal Kumar has been appointed as the new secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.Abhishek Singh, currently director general of the National Information Center (NIC), has been appointed as the new director general of the National Testing Agency (NTA).Rohit Kansal of UT cadre will serve as special secretary in the ministry of rural development.IAS officer Vikram Yadav has been appointed as Director General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation.The current I&B Secretary has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Department of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER).
