Joey Bronner minnesota The Vikings legend, who played for the team from 1983 to 1991 and was a six-time Pro Bowl selection, has died. The Vikings released a statement Sunday confirming Browner’s death. No cause of death was mentioned. Bronner is 65 years old.

“The Vikings are mourning the loss of Ring of Honor safety Joey Browner,” the team wrote. “Bronner was a six-time Pro Bowler, a four-time first-team All-Pro selection, a member of the NFL’s All-Decade Team of the 1980s, and was named to the 2010 list of the 50 Greatest Vikings.”
