What do voting records show?

According to the publicly accessible Georgia Secretary of State voter database”my electorate page”, a voter registered under the name Rozonda Ocielian Thomas participated in the March 2016 “PPP/Special Election” with “Republican” listed under the party name.

A special election or primary is a vote held outside of the standard general election cycle, usually to select a party nominee or to fill a vacant office.

The same records show Thomas has run in multiple general elections over the years, including in 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022, but did not specify a party affiliation in those races.

Records also show Thomas voting in the 2024 presidential election; however, the records do not show any party affiliation.

According to Walton County Government’s official page, Georgia’s election system does not record individual candidate selections in public voter history records. It does, however, reflect which party’s primary ballot voters chose during that election cycle, since voters select party ballots rather than register by party when casting their ballots.
