Tecno today launched the Tecno Spark 50 5G in India, which comes with a large 6500mAh battery, 45W fast charging and a Pixel-style camera design. In addition to performance, the brand also emphasizes durability and practical usability of this version. The smartphone will go on sale on April 3, making it one of the latest affordable 5G options on the market.

The Spark 50 5G comes with a Pixel-like camera module on the back, which is made of aircraft-grade aluminum. The rest of the phone is made of polycarbonate but has military-certified 1.5m drop resistance to handle everyday drops. The phone is also IP64 water and dust resistant, which protects it from accidental splashes.
It comes with a 6.78-inch IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate, but it’s only an HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1576 pixels. Under the hood is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, which handles multitasking and casual gaming well, with the option of up to 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable via microSD.
The rear features a 50MP main camera that takes clear photos in daylight, while an 8MP selfie camera handles video calls well. It comes with AI features such as WhatsApp Assistant, AI Writing Assistant, AI Eraser 2.0, and more.
