Laura Loomer, far-right activist Donald Trump loyalist, blamed Erica KirkTurning Point USA (TPUSA) Under Debate Testimony of Joe Kent. Kent, the former director of the National Counterterrorism Center, resigned over the war with Iran.
He recently expressed a willingness to testify in the Charlie Kirk murder trial, drawing the ire of TPUSA members. TPUSA founder Kirk was shot and killed in September 2025 while attending an event at Utah Valley University. Authorities have arrested Tyler Robinson and are putting him on trial, but Kent seems to suggest there may be more to Kirk’s case.

This has given ammunition to some, including Candace Owens, who have tried to point to foreign conspiracies. Loomer has waded into the controversy, attacking those who support Kent’s version of events while also accusing TPUSA of not being more harsh in the past.

Loomer criticized the staff of TPUSA on X, which was run by Charlie’s widow, Erika Kirk, after his assassination.
“After a bombshell new report confirms that former NCTC Director Joe Kent was actually willing to stand up and defend Charlie Kirk’s killers, Turning Point USA staffers are finally being forced to face reality,” she wrote, tagging Kent.
Loomer continued, “While TPUSA like Blake Neff The hosts say they feel betrayed, but I do believe now is the perfect time for some of them to take personal responsibility for initially giving a platform to the Jew-obsessed, Islam-sympathizing liars who hijacked their movement and are now trying to destroy TPUSA with lies.” She further added, “Neff claims he’s ‘tired’ of the vile conspiracy theories of assassins who protect his friends, but he’s entirely too cowardly to blame his own former boss and regular at TPUSA. Tucker Carlson who spoke at the event brought up the same garbage!”
Turning the topic to Kirk, Loomer wrote: “As long as people who claim to be friends with Charlie Kirk refuse to expose those who actually inject this fringe eccentricity into the MAGA movement, we will never get justice for Charlie Kirk and we will never defeat the radical left.”
