It added, “Seneca extends its deepest condolences to Mr. Gunther’s family and friends, as well as his former colleagues and professors. He will be deeply missed. In honor of Mr. Gunther, flags on the Seneca campus will be flown at half-staff on Tuesday, March 24.”
Meanwhile, Runway 4, where the tragedy occurred, is expected to be closed for several days. Officials are currently working to clear a “significant amount” of debris, officials said on Monday, March 23.
