“My nephew Josiah Michael Dwinell decided after riding the bus home that he couldn’t stand the bullying anymore and he felt the only way to stop it was to jump off the bridge into the freezing water and he couldn’t swim,” she added.

The statement added that the family was “heartbroken” and wanted “to honor his memory and give him the farewell he deserved”.

“As we move through this extremely difficult time, we are faced with unexpected expenses related to Josiah’s passing. Funds raised will help cover medical bills and funeral expenses, relieving some of the financial burden on our family. Your kindness and generosity will allow us to focus on healing and remembering Josiah for the amazing man he was,” the page reads.
It added: “We are extremely grateful for any support provided as this is a very unexpected loss. Thank you for your continued concern for Josiah and our family and any help you can provide.”
