Kristin Elizabeth Ramsey, 53, of Woodward; IowaAn arrest was made in connection with the murder of Ashley Oakland on Tuesday, nearly 15 years after the April 8, 2011 murder. As of now, West Des Moines police have not confirmed the charges against her.
The West Des Moines Police Department said in a news release Wednesday that they arrested Ramsey in a cold case that has vexed investigators for more than a decade. The department said a news conference regarding Kristin Ramsey’s arrest will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
